Fall is on its way. The air is cooling, the leaves are turning, and with the season comes a renewed energy across Saskatoon — especially in the city’s markets and fairs.
For this September issue of The Prairie Edit, our monthly guide to local life, we’re focusing on the markets and fairs that define the season. These gatherings are more than shopping stops; they’re community touchstones, where growers, makers, and artists share their craft and invite us to connect. Below, you’ll find a curated list of some of this month’s most exciting events.
While this blog highlights markets and fairs, our calendar tab gives you the full picture—a curated lineup of local business events we’ve handpicked for you. Continuously updated, each listing includes dates, times, locations, images, websites, and Google Maps links, making it easy to discover and explore what interests you.
Every month, a new edition of The Prairie Edit will be released, offering a fresh highlight from Saskatoon, while the calendar remains your always-up-to-date guide to what’s happening in the city. Thanks for reading and being here with us. Saskatoon is at its most beautiful in the fall — so take a walk under the changing trees, sip something warm, and make the most of the season.
