The November Edit

As the air turns crisp and the last of the autumn leaves scatter across the prairies, we find ourselves shifting from baseball season to the holiday season. Like many Canadians, we were disappointed to see the Blue Jays’ playoff run come to an end, but with that chapter closed, our attention turns to something brighter. November brings with it a sense of anticipation and community spirit, a reminder that the holidays are just around the corner and that this is the perfect time to come together and celebrate all things local.
This month at Allerdyce & Co., we’re focusing on connection, collaboration, and celebration through our holiday giveaway series. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be showcasing five of our featured properties, each one paired with different local businesses that reflect the spirit and lifestyle of our city. Each week, we’ll highlight one of these properties and its partnering companies, inviting our community to take part in a giveaway that celebrates what makes Saskatoon so special. At the end of the series, we’ll cap it off with a grand prize giveaway for a trip for two to see the Winnipeg Jets, an experience we hope will bring a little extra excitement to the season.
The businesses involved in this collaboration represent the best of our city’s creativity, quality, and heart. The Perk Grocery Imports offers a fun and unexpected assortment of treats and products from around the world, a reminder that local can also mean globally inspired. Wren, a beautifully curated home and lifestyle boutique, captures the essence of cozy elegance that so many of us crave as the snow begins to fall. Palliser, a Canadian furniture brand with deep prairie roots, reflects craftsmanship and comfort, while Ride YXE brings people together through movement and energy at their indoor cycling studio. Poise by Studio 92 encourages wellness, mindfulness, and balance, something we could all use a little more of during the busy holiday season. TCU Place, the cultural heart of downtown Saskatoon, brings life and light to the community through events and performances, and The Refillery YXE reminds us of the importance of sustainability and thoughtful consumption through its eco-friendly household and body products.
Each of these businesses plays a part in shaping the fabric of our city. Together, they remind us that shopping local is about more than just making a purchase; it's about supporting a community. It’s about strengthening relationships, supporting dreams, and keeping the heartbeat of our community strong. When you buy from a local business, attend a local event, or even share a recommendation with a friend, you’re helping build a network of support that keeps Saskatoon thriving.
Through our giveaways, we want to shine a light on the people and places that make our community what it is. We hope this initiative encourages others to explore the shops, studios, and spaces that make Saskatoon a unique place.
As November unfolds, we invite you to follow along with our weekly giveaways, get to know our five featured properties, and celebrate the many ways our city comes alive at this time of year. The holidays are about connection, generosity, and gratitude, and we’re so proud to share that spirit with our community.
From everyone at Allerdyce & Co., we thank you for supporting local and for being part of this journey with us.
